The Praise and Worship Team is a group of individuals who have been called to use their talents for God’s glory and to bring people closer to Him through praise and worship.
We started out as a very small group many years ago and have grown into what it is today, with 35 members.
Over the years, the Team has come a long way. In the early days, with more and more members joining the Team and more instruments being needed, our past members decided to get the necessary sound equipment from Uncle Lionel’s studio. This meant that, at times, they had to carry such equipment from the studio to church as early as 3:30 p.m. in preparation for the 5:30 p.m. service.
We are grateful to all those who laboured to bring the Team to what it is today, and most importantly we thank God, who worked in and through all of them.
The Team is now led by two members while routine work is delegated among the Team.
We meet every Wednesday at 7.30 pm to practice for the service and to pray as a Team.
Every Sunday we conduct praise and worship at the evening service held at 5.30 pm with the exception of the fifth Sunday, on which we participate in the united service at 7:00 am.
The Team has two main tasks each year and several ancillary involvements. The two main tasks are the Easter Rally and the Crusade.
